If you’re an author, publisher, or publicist, and have a book you would like me to review, or promote, please read these quick guidelines below, before sending me a request.
I read very diversely, but mostly Young Adult books, and I have a preference for the sub-genres contemporary and fantasy. I will also review Middle Grade, New Adult, and Adult books, and I occasionally accept review requests for non-fiction books.
I especially enjoy reading books that are diverse, books that talk about mental health, and mental illnesses, and, because I’m Asian, books that are written by Asian authors and/or feature Asian characters.
I’m only open to physical copies at the moment!
I prefer physical copies, and will prioritize review requests accordingly. I also accept e-books, and digital copies via NetGalley or Edelweiss.
My reviews are always one-hundred percent honest, and respectful, and reflect opinions that are entirely my own. I’m known to be a critical reader, which is why my readers have come to trust and value my opinion all the more, when I do recommend a book, or write a glowing review.
If I love a book, I will make it my personal mission to promote it on all my social media platforms (Goodreads, Twitter, Instagram, &c.), and will feature it in book recommendation posts, and various other blog posts, in addition to reviewing it.
I’m also open to: blog tours, cover reveals, giveaways, and interviews.
If you’re interested, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact me via my contact form.
Please include the following information, when you send me a request:
- Title & short summary
- Book cover (if available)
- Genre(s) & audience
- Length (in pages, or approx. words)
- Book format (physical copy, e-book, &c.)
- Any romance/sexual content/trigger warnings?
- Are you interested in participating in a giveaway, or interview?
- Is there a certain timeline for me to read/review your book?
Please keep in mind that blogging is a hobby for me, and something I do in my free time. I get a lot of requests from authors, and receive ARCs from publishers as well, so I can’t possibly accept every review request I receive.
Furthermore, due to the many requests I receive, I’m unable to reply to every email individually. If I believe that your book and I are a good match, I will reply to you within a week. If I don’t, the book unfortunately isn’t suitable to my interests, or I’m simply too busy at the moment to take on more books to review.
However, don’t hesitate to reach out again after a few weeks, or with a different book.
Thank you for understanding!
